Spinner Baits
There are two types of spinner baits 1 is an in line spinner the other is the overhead spinner. The in line spinner bait is normally set up with a clevis pin so it rotates smoothly they have some weight in the way of a metal body or a painted lead bullet tpe lead weight and either a treble hook or a single hook. They come in various weights and colors and are good for all types of fishing, those with willow type blades perform best when reeled in fast.
Those that use the tear drop - Colorado type are better when reeled in at slower speeds. The best type of Colorado to use is the hammered finished ones these will reflect more light as they are brought in. The Colorado type are great when using a #4 blade in chrome for bass they will come right out of what ever cover their in to chase them down and chomp on them! If your in a boat try to run it right along the shore line under some over hanging trees this can get you a lot of strikes, especially if using a trailer like part of a curly tailed grub. Note don’t use the whole grub just the tail.
